Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and blue, red, olive, and gold wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Fringed all sides. Central motif consists of alternating medallions of four roses and starbursts. Four roses are encircled by a wreath of flowers. Starbursts have a floral (tulip?) motif at the center. Each of the points of the star are accented with similar tulip-like flowers. Small floral emblems separate each medallion. Border on sides and bottom have a repeating urn with flowers motif.Collection
