Description

Geometric doubleweave coverlet with blocky pattern and wide geometric borders on the sides and bottom. This coverlet was woven in two panels, which are joined by a center seam. It has remnants of self-fringe on the bottom. The doubleweave structure combines a layer of dark blue wool with a layer of light blue wool. The pattern has four blocks and requires a 16-shaft loom.
