Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool, double cloth. Center seam joins two panels. Selvedges on either side; hemmed top and bottom. Central motif consists of a large center medallion in the shape of a square. In the center of the square is a flower and on each corner there are four large sprays of roses in each corner. Interspersed throughout the res of the center field are roses and small open petal flowers. Borders on all sides have garlands of grapes and grape leaves alternating with a rose.Collection
