Description

This geometric coverlet was woven in two panels, which are joined by a center seam. It has self-fringe on the bottom. The overshot (floatwork) weave structure combines undyed cotton plainweave ground cloth with dark blue, red, and gold wool pattern weft. The pattern has four blocks and requires a 4-shaft loom.
