Description

Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool, double cloth. Center seam joins two panels. Selvedges on either side; top and bottom bound with applied tape. The central motif consists of alternating medallions. The larger medallion contains a snowflake at its center surrounded by four lilies. The other medallion is circular and contains a floral motif. Borders on three sides have a floral vine, with large circular flowers.
