Description

Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and red wool, double cloth. Selvedges on either side; hemmed top and bottom. Central motif consists of circular floral medallions separated by floral diamond motifs. The circular medallions contain heart shaped leaves encircled by eaves that resemble flames. The diamond motifs are enclosed with ivy leaves. Borders on all sides contain a chain of flowers and leaves separated by four floral corner blocks.
