Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and green, red, blue, undyed, and purple wool, tied double cloth (Beiderwand). Hemmed top; sides and bottom fringed. Central motif is a circular center medallion of a stylized flower motif with outside border of leaves, and outermost border of grapes and grape leaves. There is a spread eagle at each corner of the center field. The border consists of a tassel design and a corner block of a bird with a leaf and branch.Collection
