Figured coverlet; undyed cotton and blue wool, double cloth. Selvedges on either side. Top hemmed and bottom fringed. Central motif is a floral and scroll design. In the center there are four vase-like motifs with roses surrounding a sunburst. Floral designs are scattered throughout the field. Borders have cornucopias filled with floral scrolls on either side of an urn of flowers. The secondary border contains a curling scroll at the outermost edge, followed by a repeated leaf pattern, and then a narrow chain-like edge.Collection
