Overshot coverlet; undyed cotton and brown wool. Center seam joins two panels. Hemmed top, fringed sewn to sides and bottom. Central motif is a pattern called "chariot wheels". The pattern contains four circles arranged in a square. The wheels are joined by a double bar. A square is in the center of the design. Borders are leno lace defined by openwork, and consist of a narrow row of chariot wheels.Collection
