Description

Geometric summer and winter coverlet with no borders. Remnants of fringe. Blocks combine to form the illusion of Xs and circles in the centerfield pattern. This coverlet was woven in two panels, which are joined by a center seam. The weave structure combines undyed cotton plainweave ground cloth with dark blue wool pattern weft. The pattern has four blocks and requires a 6-shaft loom.
