This figured & fancy coverlet has two cornerblocks that read "liberty," mirrored 4x with shielded eagles. The coverlet was woven in two panels, which are joined by a center seam. It has a centerfield pattern with tulip stars and sprouting acorns, which repeats horizontally three times. It has symmetrical floral borders on the sides and bottom. The doubleweave structure combines a layer of undyed cotton with a layer of dark blue wool. It has self-fringe on the bottom edge.
