Description

This geometric coverlet was woven in two panels, which are joined by a center seam. It has self-fringe on the sides and bottom with a cotton fabric band on the top edge. The doubleweave structure combines a layer of red-orange wool with a layer of dark blue wool. The pattern has two blocks and requires an 8-shaft loom.
