Geometric monk's belt coverlet with small all-over block pattern. This coverlet was woven in two panels, which are joined by a center seam. It has no fringe. The weave structure combines a layer of dark blue wool with a layer of undyed cotton. The weave structure combines undyed cotton plainweave ground cloth with dark blue wool pattern weft. The pattern has two blocks and requires a 4-shaft loom.Collection
