Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and self-fringe on bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Leafy centerfield pattern; leafy and floral border on sides; floral border on bottom. Woven by Sarah LaTourette in 1858.
