Red, white, and blue wool and cotton double-woven coverlet. The fringe is 3" along sides and 4.5" along the bottom.
This geometric coverlet was woven in two panels, which are joined by a center seam. It has self-fringe on the sides and bottom. The doubleweave structure combines a layer of dark blue wool with a layer of undyed cotton and red wool. The pattern has five blocks and requires a 20-shaft loom.Context
