Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and self-fringe on both sides or bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Red and navy wool with undyed cotton. Medallion centerfield pattern; floral border on sides and on bottom. Woven in 1854 with "Lady's Fancy" cornerblock.
