Description

Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on three sides and self-fringe on both sides and bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy and red wool with undyed cotton. Double rose centerfield pattern; grapevine border on sides and bottom. Woven by Charles Meily in 1835.
