This geometric coverlet was woven in two panels, which are joined by a center seam. It has self-fringe on the bottom. The overshot (floatwork) weave structure combines undyed cotton plainweave ground cloth with dark blue and red wool pattern weft. The pattern has four blocks and requires a 4-shaft loom.Context
