This geometric coverlet was woven full-width and has no center seam. It has borders on all sides and no fringe. The overshot (floatwork) weave structure combines undyed cotton plainweave ground cloth with red and navy wool pattern weft. The pattern has four blocks and requires a 4-shaft loom.Context
