This geometric coverlet was woven in three panels, which are joined by two seams. It has no borders or fringe. The overshot (floatwork) weave structure combines undyed cotton plainweave ground cloth with purple wool pattern weft. The pattern has four blocks and requires a 4-shaft loom.Context
