This geometric coverlet was woven in two panels, which are joined by a center seam. It features a "rows of x's" pattern in a simple twill weave structure. It has borders on the sides and self-fringe on the bottom. Red, blue, dark brown, and gold wool are used in the warp and weft. The coverlet was purchased at the Tchudy Auction by Horst Auctioneers in Ephrata, PA.Context
