Description

Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on 3 sides and applied fringe on sides and bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Double roses centerfield pattern; floral border on sides and bottom. Woven by Jeremiah Saylor in 1846.
