Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on 3 sides and self-fringe on the sides. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy and red wool with undyed cotton. Lilies of France centerfield pattern; floral border on sides and bottom. Woven by Philip Seewald for A. Schaum Loeffel in 1842.Context
