Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders and self-fringe on three sides. Two panels joined by a center seam. Dark blue, red, and green wool with undyed cotton. Dotted rosettes and flowers in centerfield; flower basket border on sides; distelfink bird with rosebush border on bottom. Woven in 1849 by Henry Adolf in Wayne County, Indiana.
