Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and self-fringe on the bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Floral centerfield pattern; floral border on sides and bottom. Woven by the Muir Family in 1850 with their trademark in cornerblock.
