Description
Dark orange and navy blue figured doubleweave coverlet; two panels joined by a center seam. Centerfield pattern of offset large and small medallions. Side borders of acanthus scrollwork with leaves and florals; top/bottom borders are a floral design (trumpet vine?) with hummingbirds, leaves and a scalloped design. Shielded eagle trademark in all four corners is attributed to Thomas Cranston.
