Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and applied fringe on bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Lilies of France centerfield pattern; liberty eagle border on sides and bottom. Woven by Cornelius Van Doren for U. Kelley in 1835.
