Description
Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 4 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Floral and star medallions centerfield pattern; eagle and dove border on sides; eagle and rooster border on bottom. Woven by David Haring for Sarah Vanderbelt in 1834.
