Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 4 sides and self-fringe on sides and bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Floral centerfield pattern; Bird and urn border on sides; eagle and floral border on bottom and top. Woven by David Haring for Willempey Bogert in 1834.
