Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 4 sides and self-fringe on the bottom with many patches. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Floral medallions centerfield pattern; eagle border on sides; bird and rose border on bottom and top. Woven for Jane Andersons in 1834.
