Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and self-fringe on bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Lilies of France centerfield pattern; liberty eagle border on sides and bottom. Woven by Garret Van Doren for T. Van Camp in 1840.
