Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Double rose centerfield pattern; abstract border on sides; horse and eagle border on bottom. Woven by Archibald Davidson for Elizabeth Perry in 1836.
