Description
Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Red wool with undyed cotton. Floral centerfield pattern; Eagle border on sides and on bottom. Woven by Bartlett French for Susan Brooks in 1840.
