Description
Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Tyler acanthus centerfield pattern; leafy urn border on sides and bottom. Attributed by Harry Tyler; woven for Luraney P. Wheeler in 1849.
