Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Red wool with undyed cotton. Starburst and floral centerfield pattern; tree border on sides and bottom. Woven by Harry Tyler for Sophronia Rice in 1838 with lion trademark.
