Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 3 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Double rose centerfield pattern; eagle and tree border on sides; perched eagle and tree border on bottom. Woven by Jacob Impson in 1844.
