Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 4 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Floral centerfield pattern; eagle border on sides and bottom. Woven by James Cunningham in 1843 with Washington trademark.
