Description

Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on 3 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Leaf and starburst centerfield pattern; tropical paisley border on sides and bottom. Unknown weaver for Sibylla Dow in 1848.
