Description

Figured and fancy doubleweave coverlet with borders on 4 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy wool with undyed cotton. Double rose centerfield pattern; eagle and tree border on all sides. Attributed to possibly David Johnson, Auburn Prison, or J. Conger, woven in 1830 for Ruth Bradley.
