Description

Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on 3 sides and little self-fringe on sides and bottom. Two panels joined by a center seam. Pink and light green wool with undyed cotton. Double rose centerfield pattern; eagle border on sides; bird and rose border on bottom. Woven by Josiah and Samuel Slaybaugh for Nicholas Konkle in 1846.
