Description

Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on 3 sides and no fringe. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy, green, and red wool with undyed cotton. Starburst centerfield pattern; leafy border on sides; floral border on bottom. Woven by Peter Grimm in 1858.
