Description

Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on 3 sides. No fringe; sides re-finished with fabric tape edges. Two panels joined by a center seam. Blue, pink, and green wool with undyed cotton. Double roses and rosette centerfield pattern; distelfink border on sides and bottom. Woven by Daniel Arnold for John Piers in 1837.
