Description

Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on 3 sides and self-fringe on 3 sides. Two panels joined by a center seam. Navy, red, and light blue wool with undyed cotton. Double rose and star centerfield pattern; alternating bird border on sides and bottom. Attributed to Daniel Arnold, wove in 1854 with Peace and Plenty trademark in cornerblock.
