Description
Red, navy blue, and natural figured doubleweave coverlet with borders and self-fringe on three sides. Geometric pattern with fancy borders. Henry Overholt was known to weave this uncommon pattern, which he signed with his full name in other coverlets.

Small cornerblock bears the inscription "HOH," which is likely meant to represent "HO" for Henry Overholt. The second "H" is due to the method of producing the border, which is done by reversing the border pattern at the halfway point. The "O" is at the center of the reflected border pattern.
