Description

Figured and fancy tied beiderwand coverlet with borders on 3 sides and applied fringe on sides and bottom. Woven full-width; seamless. Navy, red, and light green wool with undyed cotton. Floral eagle medallion centerfield pattern; eagle and leaf border on sides and bottom. Woven by Soloman Hausman in 1838.
