CDP 26.5.073Description
This figured & fancy coverlet has a floral logo in the bottom cornerblocks. It was possibly woven in the Lehigh Valley area.
The coverlet was woven full-width and has no center seam. It has a big curl centerfield pattern that repeats horizontally twice. It has a leafy border on the sides and bottom. The coverlet has horizontal color stripes of navy, red, and green wool on undyed cotton ground with self-fringe on the sides and applied fringe on the bottom. The tied Beiderwand weave structure uses light blue cotton tie-down threads in a 3:1 warp ratio.Context
