A framed photograph of Frank Cassara working on the restoration of the Lansing Board of Water and Light Dye Water Conditioning Plant WPA murals (which he painted alongside Charles Pollock in 1940 and 1941). The photo has a signature, believed to be facsimile. The paintbrush framed is believed to have been used in the restoration project.
This piece was presented to Kathleen Melinda Schlager Wilbur in May 1990. Kathy Wilbur was instrumental in getting the murals restored.
Kathy Wilbur (1953-2023) was a onetime president of Central Michigan University, an administrator at Michigan State University, and well known lobbyist.
