Photographic print of the fire at Plymouth Congregational Church in downtown Lansing, 1971. The photo was taken by an unknown photographer who had their image printed at Linn Camera Shop in Lansing shortly after the fire. Lansing attorney and historian Eugene G. Wanger met the photographer at Linn and asked for a copy. This is one of the many iconic photos of the fire which show the figure of Jesus in the flames and smoke.
It is framed in wood salvaged from the church building.
