1897 Witnesses the Inauguration Advertiser: The Prudential Original vintage advertisement for the Prudential Insurance company featuring the inauguration of president William McKinley on the front. This sheet is from the March 11, 1897 issue of Life magazine. the back includes several ads, including on for Sozodont tooth powder. That ad features a drawing of the United States Capitol building, and includes the text "The Inauguration Buchanan Lincoln Johnson Grant Hayes Garfield Arthur Cleveland Harrison Cleveland McKinley With the incoming administration, eleven Presidential terms will have witnessed the world-wide spuremacy of Sozodont the leading dentifrice of America and the only one of international reputation--A sample by mail for three cents, Address, P.O. Box 247, New York City. Hall & Ruckel New York Proprietors London March 4." There is a drawing of a four-man brass marching band beneath the text. Size: 8”x10.5"
