Description

White envelope from McKinley Chapter No 181, R.A.M. Edwin A. Kenney, Secretary 1397 Eastwood Ave. Cleveland 24, Ohio" to George R. Bechtel 1417 Brooklyn Ave. SW Canton 10, Ohio. The return address and "Form 3547 Requested" (in the lower left corner) are typeset in red ink. The Send to address is handwritten in green ink. The postmark reads "Cleveland, Ohio 24 7:00 PM 12 Mar 1962." Three stamps are to the right of the postmark. The first stamp is a red, two cent U.S. Postage stamp with the image of Thomas Jefferson. The second stamp is a U. S. three cent postage stamp in purple with an image of the statue of Liberty. The third is an embossed U.S. three cent postage mark with an image of George Washington in white on a purple background. The back of the envelope is blank.
